DHAKA: Activists of Chhatra Shibir, student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, blasted 12 cocktails in Shanir Akhra area of the city on Wednesday morning.

Witnesses said Shibir men brought out a brick procession at around 8:00am and hurled cocktails on Shanir Akhra bridge and fled the scene.

None was injured in the cocktail explosion.

On information, police rushed to the spot but none was held in this connection.
