MOULAVIBAZAR: Police held a leader Chhatra Shibir, the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, for his alleged involvement in the fire incident of the Supreme Court Justice SK Sinha’s village home.

The detainee is Saifur Rahman, 25, Joint Secretary of Upazila unit Chhatra Shibir.  

Sources said that police held him from Chitli area under Komolganj Upazila at around 10:30am.

Earlier, Jamaat-Shibir men set fire to village home of the Supreme Court justice SK Sinha at Tilokpur village of the district.

Moulavibazar Police Super Tofayel Ahmed confirmed the matter to banglanews.
