CHITTAGONG: Three people, including a mother and her son, were killed in a road accident in Chunti area under Lohagara upazila of the district on Friday afternoon.

Of the deceased, two were identified as Delwara 45, and her son Tamim, 6 of the Chunti area.

Police sources said a goods-laden truck rammed three pedestrians in the area around 4:00pm as a tire of the truck was punctured and the driver lost his control over steering, leaving them dead on the spot.

Officer-n-Charge of Lohagara Thana M Shahjahan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
