NARAYANGANJ: Chhatra Shibir activists set fire to two police outposts in Chashara and Hajiganj areas of the district on Saturday.

Witness said a group of Shibir activists brought out a procession from in front of Govt Tolaram College in support of Sunday’s hartal around 3:00pm.

Shibir activists hurled two petrol bombs while the procession was passing Chashara and Hajiganj police outposts bombs which set fire at the outpost.

On information, police opened fire several rounds bullet to disperse the pickets.

District Sadar Model Thana Sub-Inspector Ahsan Ullah confirmed the matter to banglanews.
