KUSHTIA: Law enforcers held some nine Jamaat-Shibir leaders and activists from Boro Bazar Rail-gate area of the district on Saturday.
Police sources said Jamaat-Shibir men brought out a sudden procession protesting the execution of senior Jamaat leader Abdul Quader Mollah.
Police chased them and held nine leaders and activists of the party fearing violence in the area around 2:00pm.
Kushtia Additional Super of Police (Crime) Sohel Reza confirmed the matter to banglanews.
