DHAKA: Leaders and activists of opposition BNP paid tribute to the late president also founder of the party Ziaur Rahman’s Mazar premises to commemorate him on the occasion of country’s 43rd Victory Day.

BNP standing committee member lieutenant General Mahabubur Rahman, Chairperson Adviser Abdul Halim and Mohila Dal MP Nilufara Chowdhury Moni, among others, were seen in the mazar premises.

Hundreds activists of BNP, Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal  along with others front organizations gathered in the mazar.

On the other hand, BNP chairperson paid tributes to the martyrs of the Liberation War by placing wreaths at the National Memorial at Savar Monday morning.
