DHAKA: BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, also former Prime Minister, expressed her sorrow at the demise of Awami League Advisory Council member Zohra Tajuddin, wife of first Prime Minister of Bangladesh Tajuddin Ahmed.

In a condolence massage she said the nation will remember Zohra Tajuddin forever as a skilful, wise and dedicated political leader.

Khaleda Zia also said that she was an efficient organizer and well renowned personality in the political arena.

She never compromised while working for country and country people and her contribution to country’s democracy is limitless, she added.

Begum Zia prayed for the departed soul and expressed sympathy to her bereaved family members.
