Cocktails blast in capital, 2 held

DHAKA: Miscreants blasted cocktails in several spots of the capital during the blockade of 18-party on Saturday morning.

Witnesses said that miscreants blasted 10 cocktails in Ray Saheb Bazaar area in front of Labaid Hospital. Meanwhile, police opened fire to disperse them.

Katwali thana Officer-in-Charge confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On the other hand, Shibir men brought out a sudden procession and blasted two cocktails at capital’s Hatirpul area.

Following the incident police held two Shibir activists from the spot.

Besides, Miscreants blasted two cocktails in Badda Link road area at around 10:00am.

Earlier on Thursday, BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan declared 83-hour countrywide blockade.
