Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Sunday (December 3) said his party will not expel its members who submitted their nomination papers for contesting the upcoming parliamentary election as independent candidates.

He came up with the announcement at a press conference held at the party president’s political office in Dhanmondi.

BNP is conspiring to come to power through the back door as it is afraid of participating in the polls due to its failure in waging political movement, Quader said.
