DHAKA: Pin drop silence prevailing around the capital’s Nayapaltan area. No activists BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami even general people were seen on roads in the area. Only some vehicles of law enforcers are seen patrolling with blowing whistle.

Amid 12-13 degree Celsius temperature, huge contingents of law enforcers, consisting police, RAB, BGB, were on alert position in front of Nayapaltan BNP central office, Kakrail, Nijoynagar areas.

Police put barricade roads of two sides of BNP office. The main entrance of the office was kept under lock and key since Saturday night. Police are allowing the small vehicles to pass the area after searching.

 Armored Personnel Carriers (APC) are drillings continuously in city’s Kakarail, Bijoynagar, Nayapaltan areas.
