DHAKA: A woman, who sustained burn injuries as miscreants hurled petrol bomb at a passenger bus in capital’s Paribagh area, succumbed to her injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital early Wednesday.
 
The deceased was identified as Shahina Akhter, 45, wife of Fakhru Zaman hailed from Tutpara Jorkal area of Khulna.

Shahina’s elder brother Ruhul Amin confirmed the matter to banglanews.

She sustained burns nearly 64 percent of her body along with two others as miscreants hurled a petrol-bomb at a running passenger bus during BNP-led 18-party alliance called nationwide blockade on January 3.

Later, the injured were rushed to burn unit of DMCH where Shahina breathed her last at around 3:00am.
