DHAKA: A Dhaka Court sent BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Adviser Advocate Khandaker Mahbub Hossain to jail in a bomb blast related case.

Metropolitan Magistrate Sabrina Ali Khandaker passed the order on Friday.

CMM court GRO Mahmudur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier on Thursday, the High Court stayed the remand order of Khandaker Mahbub Hossain.

An HC bench comprising Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Mohammad Ullah passed the order following a plea of defense lawyers.

A lower court on Wednesday granted two-day remand for Khandaker Mahbub Hossain in a bomb blast case.

He was held from in front of National Press Club on Tuesday afternoon.
