DHAKA: Newly elected lawmakers of Gaibandha-4, Bogra-7 and Jessore-5 constituencies took oath on Monday afternoon.

The lawmakers are M Abul Kalam Azad of Gaibandha-4, Muhammad Altaf Ali of Bogra-7 and Swapan Bhattacharya from Jessore-5.

The speaker of the 9th parliament Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath at her room at the parliament building.

Deputy Speaker Shawkat Ali, ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP, Saber Hossain Chowdhury were also present in the oath taking ceremony.
