DHAKA: The joint-meeting of Dhaka Metropolitan BNP, was scheduled to be held at Bhashani Auditorium in capital’s Naya Paltan on Friday afternoon, has been cancelled for unavoidable reason.

City BNP top leader Jakir Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.

BNP sources said the joint meeting was convened to provide guideline to make their pre-scheduled demonstration on January 29 a sucess.

Member Secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan BNP Abdus Salam is likely to preside the meeting where Acting Secretary General of the party Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is to be present as a chief guest.
