CHITTAGONG: BNP Chairperson’s adviser Mir Mohammad Nasir Uddin was released from the Chittagong jail on Wednesday afternoon.

The BNP leader was granted bail in all the cases filed for political violence on January 26.

Hundreds of leaders and activists of BNP and its different wings welcomed Nasir at the jail gate while he was walking out from the jail.

On November 28 of last year, police held Nasir from Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong.

Later, he was shown arrested in two cases filed with Kotwali and Chakbazar police stations.
