DHAKA: Law enforcers arrested shibir president of Pabna town Rafiqul Islam alias Sajal from Shalgariya area under Sadar upazila of the district on Friday afternoon.

Confirming the matter Pabana Sadar Thana Officer-in-Charge Kazi Haniful Islam told banglanews that Rafiqul was nabbed by police from the area around 4:00pm.

He was charged in several cases including creating violence during hartal and blockade days, he added.
