LAXMIPUR: The half day hartal, called by district BNP, demanding the release of missing Union Parisad Chairman, is underway in the district on Saturday morning.

No picketers were seen on anywhere of the district.

On the other hand, no long route vehicles left the district.

Centering the hartal, Law enforcers were kept in alert position.

Earlier on February 4, in guise of law enforcers’ miscreants picked up BNP organizing secretary of Laxmipur Sadar Upazila Omar Faruque also Hazirpara Union Parisad Chairman.
