Mirza Fakhrul returns home

DHAKA: The Acting Secretary General of BNP Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has returned to the country from Singapore on Thursday night after treatment.

The BNP leader along with his wife Rahat Ara Begum arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport of the capital around 9:50pm.

Following a recommendation of doctors, Fakhrul went to Singapore on Saturday as a blood clot in his throat was found when he was undergone treatment in BSMMU prison cell in last may.
