DHAKA: Jatiya Party (JP) Secretary General ABM Ruhul Amin Hawladar categorically said that there was no dissidence in his party.
He came up with the assertion while talking to journalists after addressing a discussion at party’s Banani office in the capital at 11:00am on Friday.
Ruhul Amin said, “It’s very normal that there would be dissidence between two big parties over some matters, but for the sake of party interest we have remained united.”
Over Jatiya Party’s Council, the secretary general said that Jatiya Party central council would be held within next three months.
With JP presidium member and Dhaka Metropolitan unit president SA Faisal Chishti in the chair, JP joint secretary general and Dhaka Metropolitan (north) general secretary Bahauddin Babul, JP Joint secretary general Nurul Islam Nuru, Golam Mohammad Razu and others were present in the discussion.
