BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has vowed to address enforced disappearances, killings, and injustices of the past 15–16 years under the Awami League regime through the 31-point state reform plan.
Speaking virtually on Wednesday (Dec 18) during a day-long BNP workshop held at the Bongotaj Auditorium in Gazipur, Tarique said the framework aims to fulfill the visions of late President Ziaur Rahman and Begum Khaleda Zia for Bangladesh.
At this this time he emphasized the need to restore democracy and people’s voting rights, noting that electoral support reflects public trust.
The event, presided over by Gazipur Metropolitan BNP President Shawkat Hossain Sarker, was attended by leaders from Gazipur, Narayanganj, and Tangail. Other notable speakers included BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, Dhaka Divisional Organizing Secretary Kazi Saiyyedul Alam Babul, and several local and regional leaders.
