A Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on former Jashore-3 MP Kazi Nabil Ahmed, his mother Amina Ahmed, and brothers Kazi Anis Ahmed and Kazi Enam Ahmed over graft allegations.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order today, allowing a plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) sought the ban, citing an ongoing money laundering probe against Gemcon Group and its sister concerns. 

The court also barred former state minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak’s wife, Arifa Jesmin Konika, from leaving the country.
