A Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on former finance minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, his wife Kashmiri Kamal, and daughters Kashfi Kamal and Nafisa Kamal over graft allegations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order today (Feb 18), allowing a plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
The decision follows four corruption cases filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on February 13, accusing them of amassing Tk 167.56 crore illegally and making suspicious transactions of Tk 850 crore.
The ACC in its plea today said it is probing the cases against Kamal and his family members and travel ban should be imposed on them for the sake of proper investigation.
