DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will call hartal (shutdown) if the government hikes power price, said a competent source from the party.  

The party sources added that BNP wants to restart anti-government movement using the power tariff issue.   

The high command of the party is thinking that by enforcing hartal on power price hike issue, BNP could go to the door of the people and party’s sleeping activists will rise up again.   

Allude to ruling Awami League government is going to increase power tariff in current month.
