BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has greeted the countrymen on the occasion of Bangla New Year, saying this day returns to the life of the nation again and again in various forms and variations.

In a Facebook post today, he said the day as a symbol of renewal and unity, urging citizens to embrace optimism and the nation’s heritage.

He also said the need for vibrant democracy, cultural coexistence, and vigilance against foreign cultural dominance. 

Reflecting on global instability, he called for selfless solutions to establish lasting peace. 

Tarique Rahman wished the nation peace, justice, and prosperity in the New Year.
