Khaleda pays homage to martyrs

SAVAR, DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia paid tributes to martyrs by placing floral wreaths at the national mausoleum in Savar, on outskirts of capital city, on Wednesday morning.  

The BNP chief along with central and local leaders and activists of the party placed the homage to martyrs around 8:45am to mark the 44th Independence and National Day.    

During the time, BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Standing Committee members Rafiqul Islam Mia, Aman Ullah Aman, Dhaka District BNP President Abdul Mannan were among others present.
 
The leaders and activists of BNP and its front organizations were seen standing at several points on the both sides of the Dhaka-Aricha Highway holding festoon and placards to welcome the party chairperson since the morning.
