DHAKA:  The High Court granted six months bail to BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas and member secretary of its Dhaka city unit Abdus Salam in four cases.

Following this, there is no obstruction to get release of them, said the lawyers of the leader.

The HC bench of Justice Borhan Uddin and Justice KM Kamrul Kader passed after bail plea hearing on Wednesday.

Barrister Moudud Ahmad moved for the petition while Deputy Attorney General M Selim stood for the state.

Earlier, police filed cases against them with Shahbagh police station.
