DHAKA: Mirza Abbas, member of BNP standing committee on killing, disappearances and kidnapping said that Bangladesh has become a blood-stained.
“Men in the country are no longer safe”, he added.
Mirza Abbas urged mass people to come forward to save the country while addressing a joint meeting of Mahanagar central BNP at Bhashani Auditorium in Nayapaltan of the city on Saturday.
Sadek Hossain Khoka, Dhaka City BNP Mahanagar BNP convener, chaired the meeting which was arranged to succeed Sunday’s mass hunger strike.
Mentioning abduction, national issue, Mirza Abbas said that the government can not solve problems anymore. “54 rivers are going to die including Teesta, due to lack of government’s concern.”
He said that the premier is making joke with people by blaming BNP, in spite of solving those.
Among others BNP Vice Chairman Abdullah Al Noman and its leader Abdus Salam also delivered speech there.
