DHAKA: The Election Commission (EC) has warned 12 political parties, including ruling Awami League, as many of their candidates have not submitted election expenditures statement.

The election commission issued the warning notices to respective offices through post and special courier on Sunday.

As per constitution, candidates are to submit the statement within 90 days of election result.
