Fakhrul for Illias Mollah arrest

DHAKA: BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir demanded judicial investigation of the killing of 10-people by setting fire to their houses at Kurmitola Bihari Camp in city early Saturday (June 14).

The spokesperson for the party also demanded the arrest of Illias Mollah MP for his alleged involvement in the tragic incident.

Mirza Fakhrul came up with the plea in press conference at Naya Paltan office at 5:30pm after visiting the camp area on Monday afternoon.

He also alleged that the supporters of Illias Mollah MP and Juba League men were involved with the killing and arson.

The senior leader of the party also criticized Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her remarks about BNP in the press meet after her China Visit.

BNP standing committee member Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia, Abdus Salam, education and research affairs secretary Khairul Kabir Khokon, information and research affairs secretary Habibur Rahman habib and Abdul Latif Jony were among others present at the press meet.
