CHITTAGONG: Police arrested port city Jamaat Ameer ANM Shamsul Islam from jail gate area just after his release from jail on Wednesday.  

He has been taken to district police head office after arrest in the morning.  

Senior jail super of Chittagong central jail Sagir Mia said “jail authority released Shamul Islam as he got bail from the last case against him.”   

Confirming his arrest, police super AKM Hafiz said police will appeal before the court showing arrest Shamsul in several cases of Satkania Thana.  

On May 12, Shamsul along with 20 others were arrested from a secret meeting from Dewanbazar of the port city.
