Palasbari upazila BNP president held

LALMONIRHAT: Law enforcers, on Wednesday evening, arrested Palasbari upazila BNP president who was wanted in half a dozen cases.

Lalmonirhat Sadar Thana Police detained BNP leader Shah Alam from Moitri Market area of the town around 7:00pm.

Assistant Superintendent of Police of Lalmonirhat Adibul Islam told banglanews that there were 14 cases filed against Shah Alam with Palasbari Thana.

He will be sent to Palasbari Thana on Thursday, he added.
