DHAKA: Miscreants blasted cocktails in front of the residence of Law Minister Anisul Haque in Banani area of the city Friday night.

An Ansar member, who was on duty at the residence, was injured in the blast while a vehicle was damaged.

Public Relations officer (PRO) of the law ministry Abdullah Al Shahin confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the miscreants threw the cocktail targeting the house of law minister around 8:00pm. However, the law minister is now in Brahmanbaria.

None was detained in the regards as the miscreants fled the scene immediately after throwing the cocktail.

Additional security forces have been deployed in the area to avert further sabotage.

The PRO said further initiatives would be taken in this regard after the returning of the law minister at home.
