BARGUNA: Police held Barguna district unit Shibir president Iftekhar Hasan Farid and another activist of the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami from the district town on Saturday night.
Police sources said that the law enforcers held the duo during a raid in the town around 8:00pm.
The Shibir president tried to hide his identity to police first but failed before an interrogation.
Barguna Thana Officer-in-Charge Riaz Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
