DHAKA: Relief and Disaster Management Affairs Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury on Thursday said BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia would be sued for bomb attacks carried out by blockade and hartal supporters across the country.

She (Khaleda Zia) will be arrested for instigating all the arson and bomb attacks, said the AL lawmaker.

He came up with the forewarning while addressing human chain formed by student-teacher-guardian in front of Motijheel Ideal School on Thursday.

The minister also ruled out general election before 2019. The 11th parliamentary election will also be held under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he added.

None will be allowed to capture state power by bombing, burning the people. If any quarter assumes power by killing people, every person will keep one or two bombs in their possession once.

Blaming Khaleda Zia for attempting to destroy country’s educational system, he said Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination is vital one for the students.  “But, the BNP chief is giving her all efforts to stop the exams only for capturing power,” he said.

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon, heads of different educational institutions located in Motijheel area were present at the program.
