DHAKA: The BNP-led 20-party alliance has called for a fresh 72-hour long nationwide hartal from Sunday morning.

Moreover, the 20-party alliance will also bring out protest processions across the country on Monday.

Joint Secretary General of BNP Salahuddin Ahmed made the announcement through a press release on Friday afternoon.

According to the press release, the 72-hours long hartal will start from 6:00am Sunday and will continue till 6:00am Wednesday.

However, the BNP leader asked the party leaders and activists to observe their scheduled movements.

Earlier, the party sponsored hartal during working days in last three weeks alongside nonstop roads, waterways and railways blockade.
