DHAKA: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two siblings with four petrol bombs and five cocktails from city’s Kadamtali area early Sunday.

The detainees are Nur Hossain and his elder brother Kamal.

Maksudul Alam, assistant director of RAB Legal and Media Wing, confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He told banglanews that, acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force, conducted drive in the area around 12:30am and nabbed the duo from a CNG-run auto-rickshaw garage.

Jalal Mir, Officer-in-Charge of South Keraniganj Thana, told banglanews that in primary interrogation, the detainees confessed that they gathered the petrol bombs-cocktails to create sabotage.

Moreover, Nur and Kamal have been produced before the court showing arrested in a case filed under Explosives Act, the OC added.
