DHAKA: Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch of Police in drives held two leaders of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) with 20 petrol bombs from the city early Thursday.

The detainees were identified as Jahangirnagar University unit Chhatra Dal president, also central unit assistant organizing secretary Zakirul Islam and Central Chhatra Dal assistant general secretary Mrinal Kanti Das.

Dhaka Metropolitan police (DMP) media centre assistant commissioner Iftekharul Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said, during the drives, they also recovered 20 petrol bombs from their possession.
