DHAKA: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), in several drives, nabbed nine BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir men from different places of the city for their alleged involvement in ongoing sabotages.

Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner of DMP’s Media and Public Relations Department, confirmed the matter to banglanews on Wednesday.

Police rounded up them in 24-hour drives between Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning, said the DMP DC.

He said among the detainees, one is activist of Jamaat-e-Islami while rests are of BNP’s.
