Fire breaks out at JP central office

DHAKA: A fire broke out in Jatiya Party (JP) central office in Kakrail area of the city early Sunday.

JP senior Joint Secretary General, also Jubo Sanghati president Razaul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The fire originated at the ground floor of the office that blazed some furniture of the office, he said.

JP leaders suspected that the fire might be caused by the petrol bomb attack by miscreants.

Earlier on several times cocktails and petrol bombs were blasted in front of JP office in the area during continuous hartal and blockade enforced by BNP led 20-party alliance.
