JESSORE: Police, in overnight drives, rounded up 48 people, including two activists of BNP, from different places of eight upazilas of the district.

District Police Control Room sources said among the detainees two are BNP men and others are accused in several cases.

They were scheduled to produce before the court on Friday afternoon, sources added.
