DHAKA: BNP-led 20-party alliance has called countrywide hartal from 6:00am Thursday to 6:00am Friday keeping Dhaka and Chittagong cities out of purview.
BNP joint secretary general Barkat Ullah Bulu made the hartal announcement through a press release on Tuesday afternoon.
The alliance also declared to stage protest rally and processions across the country.
The press release also said Dhaka and Chittagong cities will be out of hartal purview for upcoming elections.
