Interpol Red Notice against Tarique

DHAKA: The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) issued Red Notice against BNP senior vice chairman Tarique Rahman.

The Red Notice was issued as he is under the charge of murder and explosion of hand grenade in the then opposition Awami League’s meeting at Bangabandhu Avenue in city on August 21 in 2004.

The notice said, “Wanted by the judicial authorities of Bangladesh for prosecution / to serve a sentence.”
