DHAKA: A three-member delegation of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will meet Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad Tuesday afternoon.

BNP standing committee member ASM Hannan Shah will lead the delegation.

CEC’s personal secretary Mazharul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Mazharul said that the BNP delegation sought for an appointment from the CEC to discuss the overall issues on upcoming city polls.

The CEC is set to meet the delegation at 5:00am, he added.

Earlier, delegation from BNP-led 20-patry alliance had met the CEC for two different times to discuss the overall situation regarding the city polls.
