DHAKA: At least 19 people were injured in clashes in different areas of Dhaka North and South city corporations during election hours on Tuesday.

The injured were admitted at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

DMCH emergency department ticket counter in-charge Mohammad Abdul Baten informed banglanews about the matter.

The injured includes a ruling Awami League’s youth affiliate Jubo League leader Nizamuddin Chowdhury Parvez.

He was injured in a clash in front of a vote center in Maniknagar.
