DHAKA: The High Court (HC) on Tuesday afternoon granted bail to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s advisor Mosaddek Ali Falu.

An HC bench comprising Justice Mohammad Rezaul Haque and Justice Khasruzzaman passed the order after hearing on the bail petition.

Advocate Khandakar Mahbub Hossain stood for the defender.

However, the BNP leader was arrested from in front of Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan political office in city on February 1 during his party’s nationwide indefinite blockade.

Earlier on January 30, police filed an arson attack case against the BNP leader with Khilgaon Thana.
