SAVAR: A student of Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University was killed as two groups of ruling Awami League’s (AL) student wing Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) locked into clashes over supremacy on the campus on Wednesday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Mosharraf Hossain, a fourth year student of criminology department and also a BCL leader.

Earlier at noon, the in-fight of two BCL groups left Mosharraf injured. Later, he was admitted to Enam Medical College and Hospital in Savar where he succumbed to his injuries at 6:30pm.

Moreover, two other injured were shifted at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) as their physical condition deteriorated.
