5 BNP-Jamaat men among 25 arrested in Jhenaidah

JHEAIDAH: Police have arrested 25 persons, including five activists of BNP and its key ally Jamaat-e-Islami conducting drives across the district.

The drives were conducted from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning.

Jhenaidah police control room on-duty policeman Shafiqul Islam said that the arrestees are accused in different cases, including of creating violence.
