DHAKA: Mentioning to the three-month violence recently carried out by the BNP-Jamaat-e-Islami alliance, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday urged the countrymen to be aware of such inauspicious power so that they can never rise.

The premier was addressing a program before inaugurating Hazaribagh Fire Service and Civil Defence Station and laying foundation stone of Mother and Children Welfare Center here in the afternoon.

Indicating BNP-Jamaat, she said such destructive environment can resurface any moment as these parties won’t change their stance.

“This is why countrymen need to stay together against these evil forces,” she added.

With local lawmaker Fazle Nur Tapas in the chair, state ministers for home and health Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and Zahid Maleque respectively were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
