CHITTAGONG: Police in special drives detained at least 123 people, including four activists of Jamaat-e-Isalmi and its student wing Islami Chharta Shibir from different parts in Chittagong.

Moreover, police also seized 129 liters of liquor.

Sources said that law enforcers detained a Jamaat and a Shibir activists from Lohagara upazila and a Jamaat and Shibir activists from Fatikchhari.

However, the other arrestees are accused in different cases, the sources added.
