CHITTAGONG: Police arrested 67 people, including two activists of Jamaat-e-Islami, conducting special drives in different parts of the Chittagong district.

Moreover, police also seized 12 liters of liquor and 20 pieces of yaba tablets during the drives conducted from Friday night to Saturday morning.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Chittagong additional police super (special branch) Muhammad Naimul Hasan two Jamaat activists were arrested from Lohagara upazila of the district.

The arrestees are accused in different cases, he added.
